The invention provides a range extender, a power system and an automobile. The range extender comprises a first shell, a fixing shaft, a stator assembly, a first magnetic rotor assembly, a second magnetic rotor assembly and a speed ratio switching assembly. The fixed shaft is arranged in the first shell; the stator assembly sleeves the fixed shaft; the first magnetic rotor assembly sleeves the stator assembly and is connected with the first shell; the second magnetic rotor assembly is sleeved between the stator assembly and the first magnetic rotor assembly and is connected with the fixed shaft; the fixed shaft is sleeved with the speed ratio switching assembly, and the speed ratio switching assembly is connected with the first magnetic rotor assembly and the second magnetic rotor assembly and used for switching and controlling rotation of the first magnetic rotor assembly or the second magnetic rotor assembly. According to the invention, power generation with different speed ratios is realized by changing the magnetic field, and compared with traditional gear meshing transmission, the transmission efficiency is higher, the structure is more compact, the maintenance cost is lower, and the NVH performance is better due to no frictional loss.
