A tea picking device based on an unmanned aerial vehicle belongs to the field of agricultural machinery. The device is composed of an unmanned aerial vehicle, a vertical mechanism, a collecting device, a picking mechanism, a mechanical arm and a visual module, when the unmanned aerial vehicle flies according to a planned path, a lower device is always kept vertical through the vertical device, so that stable flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle is guaranteed, the unmanned aerial vehicle lands on a tea tree after flying to a designated position, and the position of tea is detected through the visual module; and three-dimensional coordinates are provided, the picking mechanism is driven by the mechanical arm to reach a designated position to pick tea leaves, and the collecting device collects the tea leaves, so that the tea leaf picking work is completed. The device can overcome environmental factors such as planting terrain and planting density, saves labor cost, improves tea leaf picking efficiency, and can be widely applied to tea leaf picking work.
