The invention relates to a wall-climbing robot driven by a shape memory alloy, which is provided with an adsorption assembly, and uses a shape memory alloy wire which shrinks in a heating state and can be stretched to the original length in a cooling state, and an elastic element is combined with the shape memory alloy wire, so that the wall-surface adsorption crawling robot capable of realizing inchworm-like motion is obtained. The crawling robot is very simple in structure, light in weight and very easy to miniaturize, and can be suitable for more complex wall surfaces and cross over areas which are not beneficial to crawling, so that the crawling robot can be applied to more stringent working environments.
