The embodiment of the invention relates to a passenger sitting posture recognition method and system, a vehicle and a computer program product. The method is applied to the vehicle, the vehicle is provided with a seat, the seat is provided with a pressure sensing pad, and the method comprises the following steps: acquiring pressure data of the pressure sensing pad; feature extraction is carried out based on the pressure data to obtain a feature value, and the feature value is related to the sitting posture of the passenger; and identifying the sitting posture of the passenger according to the characteristic value. Through the mode, the pressure data is provided through the pressure sensing pad on the seat, then feature extraction is carried out based on the pressure data, the feature value is obtained, and then the sitting posture of the passenger can be recognized based on the feature value.
