The invention relates to a bus rear door passenger getting-off safety protection system and method. The protection system comprises a bus body, and a rear door is installed on the bus body; the system further comprises a radar detection system and a laser detection system. The radar detection system comprises a millimeter wave radar which is 1m away from the ground; the laser detection system comprises a plurality of laser detectors which are arranged on a cross beam and a vertical beam of the rear door at equal intervals; the millimeter-wave radar monitors the conditions of the non-motor vehicles in a safe braking range in real time, calculates the safe distances of all the non-motor vehicles in a detection range according to a real-time safe distance algorithm, and compares the safe distances with the real-time distances to judge whether the passengers get off safely or not; a laser detector monitors a passenger getting-off area in real time, and it is ensured that when all passengers get off, a vehicle door is safely closed, so that the anti-pinch function is achieved; danger and safety conditions when passengers get off can be effectively defined, opening and closing of the bus door are controlled, and get-off safety of the passengers is guaranteed.

    本发明涉及一种公交车后门乘客下车安全保护系统及保护方法,保护系统包括公交车本体,在公交车本体上安装后门;还包括雷达检测系统以及激光检测系统;雷达检测系统包括毫米波雷达,其距离地面高度为1m;激光检测系统包括若干个激光检测器等距离间隔排布在后门的横梁以及竖梁上;毫米波雷达实时监测安全制动范围内的非机动车状况,根据实时安全距离算法,计算出检测范围内所有非机动车的安全距离,对安全距离和实时距离进行比较,以判断乘客下车是否安全;激光检测器对乘客下车区域进行实时监测,确保所有乘客全部下车时,安全关闭车门,以实现防夹功能;本发明能够有效界定乘客下车时的危险与安全状况,控制公交车车门的开闭,保障乘客下车安全。
