The invention relates to the technical field of heavy trucks, in particular to a suspension energy recovery system of a heavy truck, which comprises a frame, a plate spring, a plate spring seat, a stroke amplification mechanism and a kinetic energy recovery mechanism, the stroke amplifying mechanism comprises a short rod and a long rod which are fixedly connected, a fixing shaft is arranged at the connecting position of the short rod and the long rod and connected with the frame through a fixing plate, a sliding groove is formed in the short rod, a connecting column is fixedly connected to the plate spring seat and inserted into the sliding groove of the short rod, and the plate spring seat is fixedly connected with the connecting column. The connecting column drives the short rod and the long rod to rotate along the fixed shaft in the up-down movement process; the kinetic energy recovery mechanism converts kinetic energy into electric energy through a first hydraulic rod, a first hydraulic motor and a first generator. The suspension kinetic energy can be recycled, meanwhile, the suspension hardness can be adjusted, and the problems that a plate spring adopted by an existing truck is poor in suspension comfort, and energy cannot be recycled are solved.
