The invention relates to a steering transmission shaft. The steering transmission shaft comprises a steering column mechanism, a retainer mechanism and a shaft sleeve mechanism, the steering column mechanism comprises a steering column base body, a positioning unit and a clearance compensation unit, and the positioning unit and the clearance compensation unit are both located on the steering column base body. The retainer mechanism is positioned between the steering column mechanism and the shaft sleeve mechanism; the retainer mechanism comprises a retainer body, a roller pin unit and a positioning gear; and the shaft sleeve mechanism is sleeved on the steering column mechanism. By the adoption of the steering transmission shaft, the retainer mechanism can be kept in the preset position, abrasion between the shaft sleeve mechanism and the retainer mechanism is reduced, the contact area of a kinematic pair can be increased through the roller pin units, and then the service life of the steering transmission shaft is prolonged.
