The invention provides a hoisting pulley block mechanism for a tower crane, which comprises two groups of auxiliary hoisting assemblies symmetrically arranged on the crane, two steel wire ropes are provided, and each group of auxiliary hoisting assemblies allows one steel wire rope to pass through; the auxiliary hoisting assembly comprises a fourth pulley, a rope threading hole, a guide part, a third pulley, a second pulley and a first pulley; the fourth pulley is arranged on the bottom surface of the suspension arm and is positioned above the rotary table; the rope penetrating hole penetrates through the wall of the rotary table, and the guiding piece is arranged on the inner wall of the rotary table and below the rope penetrating hole. The second pulley and the third pulley are arranged along the radial direction of the base; the third pulley is close to the center of the turntable; when the crane is hoisted, one end of a steel wire rope is connected with the hoisting end of the hoisting arm, and the other end sequentially penetrates through the fourth pulley, the rope penetrating hole, the main hoisting pulley, the guide piece, the third pulley, the second pulley and the first pulley to be connected to a power unit. When the crane works, the main hoisting pulley is detached, the steel wire ropes extend from the fourth pulley to be connected with the third pulley, and when the rotary table rotates, winding of the two steel wire ropes is avoided.
