The invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle launching method, relates to the technical field of aerospace, and is used for solving the defect that an unmanned aerial vehicle launched by an existing unmanned aerial vehicle pneumatic launching pad is slow in speed. The unmanned aerial vehicle pneumatic launching pad comprises a launching support, an air cylinder, a connecting piece and a launching cylinder, wherein the air cylinder, the connecting piece and the launching cylinder are sequentially connected and arranged in the launching support. The unmanned aerial vehicle is installed in the launching cylinder; the inflator releases compressed gas; and the connecting piece transmits compressed gas to the launching cylinder so as to eject the unmanned aerial vehicle out of the launching cylinder. According to the method, the unmanned aerial vehicle in the launch canister is quickly launched out of the launch canister through release of the compressed gas, so that quick launch of the unmanned aerial vehicle is realized, and the initial velocity of the launched unmanned aerial vehicle is improved.
