The escalator chain is simple in structural principle, the rotor is prevented from being abraded by the chain wheel by additionally arranging the reinforcing protection plate outside the rotor, the reinforcing protection plate is prevented from being abraded, meanwhile, the reinforcing protection plate is extremely convenient to disassemble, assemble and replace, the maintenance cost of the escalator chain is greatly reduced, and the chain runs more stably.
