The invention relates to the technical field of electromagnetic locks, and discloses a mechanically-held electromagnetic lock and a sliding door. Comprising a first unit and a second unit, the first unit comprises a first movable plate and a connecting assembly which are connected with each other, the connecting assembly comprises a mounting plate, the mounting plate is provided with a limiting column and hinged to a first spring bolt and a second spring bolt, and the first movable plate is provided with a first lock pin slidably connected with the mounting plate; a first limiting opening suitable for being movably connected with the first spring bolt is formed in the first movable plate, and a clamping opening is formed in the second spring bolt. The second unit comprises a third movable plate and a manual unlocking assembly which are rotatably connected with each other, the third movable plate is provided with a second lock pin, the second lock pin is suitable for being matched with the bayonet, and the manual unlocking assembly comprises a pressing block movably connected with the third movable plate. The locking state is kept through a mechanical structure, automatic unlocking is avoided even if power failure or poor circuit contact occurs, and the locking device is safer and more reliable.
