The invention provides a vehicle charging method and device, computer equipment and a program product, and the method comprises the steps: receiving Bluetooth broadcast information sent by Bluetooth equipment of each charging pile in a charging pile region after a vehicle enters the charging pile region; the Bluetooth broadcast information carries state indication information for indicating whether the current charging pile is idle or not and charging attribute information; according to the Bluetooth broadcast information, at least one candidate charging pile which is currently in an idle state and of which the charging attribute information is matched with the vehicle is searched from the charging piles; determining a target charging pile and first positioning position information of the target charging pile from the candidate charging piles based on the acquired Bluetooth signal connection strength information of the candidate charging piles; and controlling the vehicle to run to the target charging pile for charging according to the first positioning position information. According to the embodiment of the invention, communication between the Bluetooth of the vehicle and the Bluetooth of the charging pile is utilized, so that the searching efficiency of the charging pile and the charging efficiency of the vehicle are improved.
