A V2V collision avoidance solution and system for a vehicle view blind area belong to the field of vehicle safety, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the communication with a nearby vehicle in a set scene through a V2V technology, obtaining the related information of a vehicle and the nearby vehicle, and calculating the transverse collision time of the vehicle and the nearby vehicle; when it is judged that the transverse collision risk exists, calculation is conducted according to the transverse collision time, the longitudinal movement distance of the vehicle in the transverse collision time is obtained, and when it is judged that the longitudinal collision risk exists between the vehicle and the nearby vehicle, the nearby vehicle with the shortest transverse collision time is selected as the most dangerous target; and corresponding braking measures are selected for the vehicle according to the transverse collision time corresponding to the most dangerous target. According to the method, the transverse collision time of the vehicle and the nearby vehicle in the set scene can be calculated through the V2V, the longitudinal relative distance between the vehicle and the nearby vehicle in the transverse collision time is further calculated, and different levels of braking actions are selected in combination with the transverse and longitudinal collision risks, so that collision is effectively avoided.
