The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle detection device and method for underwater bridge detection. The unmanned aerial vehicle detection device comprises an underwater unmanned aerial vehicle body, a multi-beam sonar device, a camera, an attitude monitoring device and a master controller. The underwater unmanned aerial vehicle main body comprises a conical shell; a buoyancy adjusting component is arranged on the top of the conical shell, and a displacement driving component is arranged on the peripheral wall of the top of the conical shell. A spiral track is arranged on the outer surface of a cone of the conical shell, and the multi-beam sonar equipment and the camera are arranged to move along the sliding track, so that all-directional monitoring of the multi-beam sonar equipment and the camera is completed; a posture monitoring device is arranged at the bottom of the conical shell, and the posture and motion parameters of a main body are monitored in real time. The bridge underwater monitoring system is high in controllability after water entry detection, and can realize omnibearing monitoring of the underwater part of the bridge.
