The electric drive system comprises an electronic oil pump; the method comprises the steps of determining the operation state of the electric drive system; under the condition that the operation state of the electric drive system is the standby state, the charging state of the vehicle is determined; and controlling the rotating speed of the electronic oil pump based on the charging state of the vehicle. Therefore, the problem of high energy consumption of the electronic oil pump can be solved.
