The method includes: charging a battery of a vehicle based on configured charging configuration parameters; when the battery meets the first charging end condition, determining the state of a plug-in heat preservation function of the battery; determining heat preservation configuration parameters of the insertion gun heat preservation function under the condition that the state of the insertion gun heat preservation function is turned on, turning on a battery heating film under the condition that the temperature of the battery is lower than a first temperature threshold value included in the heat preservation configuration parameters, and heating the battery through the battery heating film; under the condition that the temperature of the battery is higher than a second temperature threshold value included in the heat preservation configuration and parameters, closing the battery heating film, stopping heating the battery, and then executing the step of determining the temperature of the battery until the insertion heat preservation process of the battery is quitted; and when the insertion heat preservation process of the battery exits, the battery charging is completed. The battery life achievement rate of the battery can be improved.
