The invention discloses a driving state monitoring method, a driving state monitoring device, a vehicle and a storage medium, and the driving state monitoring method comprises the steps: obtaining the speed of the vehicle; determining whether the vehicle speed is less than or equal to a vehicle speed threshold; when it is determined that the vehicle speed is smaller than or equal to the vehicle speed threshold value, a camera of a driver monitoring system is controlled to start a privacy protection mode. According to the method, when the vehicle is in the low-speed driving state, the camera of the driver monitoring system is automatically controlled to start the privacy protection mode, the driver does not need to manually turn off the camera, and the safety risk in the vehicle driving process is reduced.
