The present disclosure provides "digital masking control based on force touch and haptics". A system and method for digital occlusion control in a vehicle. The digital shading control may be integrated into a glass, pillar, etc. of a vehicle. In at least one embodiment, a digital mask control is integrated directly into a glass of a vehicle, and includes: a transparency changing material interface layer disposed over the glass; the capacitive touch interface layer is arranged above the transparency change material interface layer; a force touch interface layer disposed over the capacitive touch interface layer; and a haptic interface layer disposed over the force touch interface layer.
