The invention discloses a design control system of a vehicle running water steering lamp. Comprising a steering lamp switch, a danger warning lamp switch, a steering lamp, a flasher, a microprocessor, a power supply and a hard wire signal or a CAN signal (or a 485 bus, an integrated services digital network or a bus in other modes), and the steering lamp is connected with the microprocessor and the power supply through a hard wire or a CAN bus (or a 485 bus, an integrated services digital network or a bus in other modes); the steering lamp switch or the danger warning lamp switch is connected with the microprocessor through a hard wire or a CAN bus (or a 485 bus or an integrated services digital network or other buses). When a microprocessor of the vehicle receives an effective signal of the steering lamp switch or the danger warning lamp switch, the microprocessor lightens the steering lamp for the first time within one second after receiving the signal of turning on the steering lamp and extinguishes for the first time within 1.5 seconds, and when the signal of the steering lamp switch or the danger warning lamp switch is turned off, the steering lamp is turned off after the whole running process is completed. According to the invention, no matter what flasher is used by a vehicle or what length the steering lamp is designed, the running time and frequency of the running steering lamp can be controlled, and the running time and frequency are not limited by the frequency of the flasher any more. Therefore, the running water effect of the running water steering lamp is improved, and particularly, the running water duration and frequency of the steering lamp are controllable and adjustable.
