The lifting appliance comprises a base body and an expansion mechanism arranged on the base body, the expansion mechanism comprises an expansion core and an expansion sleeve, the expansion sleeve is connected with the base body, the expansion core is movably installed in the expansion sleeve in the longitudinal direction of the expansion sleeve, and the end, facing the base body, of the expansion core is connected with a pull rod used for controlling the position of the expansion core. The pull rod is movably installed on the base body in a penetrating mode in the longitudinal direction of the base body, the base body is used for assisting in guiding the pull rod to move in the longitudinal direction, the expansion sleeve expands or resets under the action of the expansion core, and when the expansion sleeve resets, the expansion sleeve can stretch into an inner hole of the differential mechanism; when the expansion core forces the expansion sleeve to expand, the expansion sleeve is tightly attached to an inner hole of the differential mechanism, and therefore the position between the expansion core and the differential mechanism is fixed. In this way, the differential mechanism can be lifted easily, the weight of the lifting appliance is greatly reduced, and the lifting appliance is light, flexible and easy to operate.
