A steering input device according to the present disclosure includes: a handle portion; a lower shaft configured to rotate by rotation of the handle portion; a torsion bar connected to the lower shaft and at least partially disposed in the lower shaft; an upper shaft connected to the torsion bar and configured to receive at least a portion of the torsion bar, the upper shaft connected to the lower shaft; a sensor configured to detect a rotation angle of the lower shaft or the upper shaft; and a motor shaft connected to the upper shaft and configured to be rotated by a motor. The steering input device may have a smaller volume, which may improve space utilization inside a vehicle and improve user convenience.
