The invention discloses a vehicle-mounted charger, a vehicle and a charging method of the vehicle, and relates to the technical field of new energy vehicles. The vehicle-mounted charger comprises a resonance circuit and a control unit. The resonance circuit comprises a three-phase winding of the generator; the control unit is used for controlling the resonance circuit, so that the vehicle-mounted charger works in a target state, and the target state comprises a range extending power generation state; under the condition that the vehicle-mounted charger works in an extended-range power generation state, the resonance circuit is used for providing control voltage for the three-phase winding of the generator so as to control the generator and the extended-range engine mechanically linked with the generator to rotate, and alternating-current electric energy generated by rotation of the extended-range engine and the generator is rectified and output to a battery pack of a vehicle. The vehicle-mounted charger is reused as the generator controller, the generator and the range extending engine in mechanical linkage with the generator are controlled to rotate to generate electric energy, the part utilization rate is increased, and the vehicle cost, the weight, the power consumption and the occupied space are reduced.
