The invention discloses a road event sensing system based on sound detection. The key points of the technical scheme are that the system comprises a sound sensor used for capturing sound signals in an environment; the data acquisition module is responsible for acquiring original sound data from the sound sensor and is connected with the sound sensor; the data preprocessing module is used for carrying out preprocessing operations such as denoising, filtering and audio normalization on the original data and is connected with the data acquisition module; the feature extraction module is used for extracting feature representation of the sound data; and the event identification module is used for classifying and identifying the features by utilizing a machine learning or signal processing algorithm to determine the type of the traffic event. The invention provides comprehensive monitoring capability and improves the accuracy of traffic incident recognition.
