The present invention provides a harvester and a combine harvester, the harvester comprising: a harvesting processing unit which, after harvesting crops, transversely transfers the crops to an intermediate part in the width direction of a machine body and merges the crops; and a feeder that transports the crop laterally transferred by the harvesting processing unit to the rear of the machine body, the harvesting processing unit having a divider that divides the crop to be harvested and the crop to be non-harvested on each of a pair of side wall portions located at both side end portions in the width direction of the machine body, the divider being provided on the front side of the machine body, and the divider being provided on each of the pair of side wall portions located at both side end portions in the width direction of the machine body. The combine harvester is provided with a traveling machine body and a pair of left and right traveling devices; the threshing device is used for threshing harvested crops, the threshing device is arranged on the running machine body in a state that the threshing device is close to either the left or the right relative to the central position in the width direction of the machine body, and a grass discharging cover body is arranged behind the threshing device. The grass discharging cover body receives waste grass discharged from the threshing device and discharges the waste grass to the outside from the lower side.
