The invention discloses an elevator fault diagnosis and early warning method and system based on the Internet of Things, and the method comprises the steps that sampling data which is collected by all sensors and represents the elevator state are obtained, the sampling data comprises at least one of traction machine three-phase power supply current, traction machine three-phase power supply voltage, elevator vertical vibration acceleration and elevator horizontal vibration acceleration; transmitting the sampling data to a cloud server through the Internet of Things; the CNN-LSTM algorithm is used for processing and analyzing the sampling data obtained by the cloud server, and potential faults and risks of the elevator are recognized according to the processing and analysis result; corresponding early warning information is generated according to a processing and analysis result, and the early warning information is sent to terminal equipment of related personnel; and the cloud server sends the early warning information to an associated remote monitoring platform, and generates an elevator running state and a diagnosis report on the remote monitoring platform. Through the arrangement, the management efficiency and quality of the elevator are improved, and safe operation of the elevator is guaranteed.
