A current control method and an electric control chassis suspension system are mainly characterized in that a controller performs operation according to current state information to generate a current resistance value, and the current state information comprises an input voltage, a current control current and a current duty ratio. The controller is provided with a proportional valve characteristic database, the proportional valve characteristic database records resistance values corresponding to various currents and temperatures, a current temperature value is obtained through table look-up according to the current resistance value and the proportional valve characteristic database, and the controller conducts table look-up according to the current temperature value and a target current value and the proportional valve characteristic database to obtain a target resistance value. The target current value is related to the damping force of vehicle body suspension control, the controller calculates and generates a target duty ratio according to the target current value, the target resistance value and the input voltage, and the controller generates a pulse wave control signal according to the target duty ratio and transmits the pulse wave control signal to the driver, so that accurate and rapid damping modulation is achieved to adjust the dynamic stability of the vehicle, and the vehicle runs more comfortably and safely.
