The invention relates to a main lock for a reverse thrust actuation system. The main lock comprises a connector, a lock body and a lock body, wherein the connector is driven by a motor to rotate; the worm gear is fixedly connected to a main shaft of the reverse thrust actuation system; the worm is configured to be connected to the connector through a transmission mechanism and can be meshed with the worm gear to drive the worm gear to rotate; and an unlocking mechanism connected to the worm and operable to bring the main lock into a locked configuration, in which the transmission mechanism is connected to the joint and the worm to transmit a movement of the joint to the worm and the worm meshes with the worm wheel, or an unlocked configuration, in which the worm is disengaged from the worm wheel, in which the transmission mechanism is connected to the joint and the worm to transmit a movement of the joint to the worm and the worm meshes with the worm wheel. The worm gear is allowed to rotate freely.
