The invention relates to the technical field of vehicles, in particular to a braking energy recovery method and device, a vehicle and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that the axle load transfer amount of a front axle and an axle load transfer amount of a rear axle during vehicle braking are obtained; according to the axle load transfer amounts of the front axle and the rear axle, brake torques required by the front axle and the rear axle are calculated; and a driving shaft and a non-driving shaft in the front shaft and the rear shaft are recognized, a corresponding braking mechanism is controlled to conduct hydraulic braking according to the braking torque needed by the non-driving shaft, and a motor is controlled to conduct regenerative braking and energy recovery according to the braking torque needed by the driving shaft. Therefore, the problems of poor riding comfort and the like caused by unreasonable distribution of the braking force of the front shaft and the rear shaft when the braking energy is recovered are solved.
