A method for active cooling, a vehicle, and a computer program product for an active cooling system are provided. The method may include creating a machine learning model of a physical object, and equipping the physical object with a sensor to generate real-time data regarding the physical object and its operating environment. The method may further include generating, using a machine learning model, a predicted future temperature for the physical object using real-time data regarding the physical object and its operating environment; and actively cooling the physical object in response to the predicted future temperature exceeding a threshold temperature for a threshold period of time.
