The invention belongs to the field of flight simulation, and relates to an atmospheric environment simulation method for flight simulation. The method comprises the steps that S1, the wind speed and the wind direction of a plurality of given constant value wind at different heights are obtained; s2, interpolating a first wind speed and a first wind direction at the position according to the position of the aircraft; s3, calculating a second wind speed and a second wind direction of the position where the aircraft is located according to the given gust intensity; s4, calculating a third wind speed and a third wind direction of the position of the aircraft according to the given turbulence intensity; s5, calculating a fourth wind speed and a fourth wind direction of the position where the aircraft is located according to the given wind shear type and wind shear strength; s6, calculating a fifth wind speed and a fifth wind direction of the position where the aircraft is located according to the given micro-storm type and micro-storm intensity; and S7, calculating the final wind speed and wind direction of the position where the airplane is located. Accurate insertion of the wind speed and the wind direction in the flight simulation process is achieved, and changes of the wind speed and the wind direction in the flight process are accurately simulated.
