The method comprises the following steps: in response to a navigation operation triggered by a user, acquiring initial navigation information including an initial navigation route and a navigation destination; determining whether a target road section capable of realizing automatic driving exists in the initial navigation route; if yes and the automatic driving function state of the vehicle is an enabled state, monitoring whether the vehicle is driven into or out of the target road section in real time; if it is monitored that the vehicle drives into or out of the target road section, switching a high-precision map or a standard map application program running in a foreground according to an automatic driving switching function state, and generating a standard navigation route or a high-precision navigation route by adopting an electronic map application program running in the foreground for navigation. According to the method, the function state can be switched according to the automatic driving of the vehicle, when the vehicle drives into or out of the target road section, the standard map and the high-precision map are switched and navigation is performed, manual operation of a user is not needed, and the user experience is guaranteed.
