When the wheel slip rate exceeds a certain limit value and the target rotating speed difference of the target wheel reaches a certain value, it is considered that the wheel slips, and torque reduction operation will be conducted on the wheel till the wheel slip rate or the target rotating speed difference recovers to the normal level. The method can effectively restrain the phenomenon of wheel slipping when the road condition of the vehicle is not good or the vehicle accelerates, improves the stability of the vehicle, reduces tire abrasion, and can also reduce ineffective energy loss.
