The invention discloses a method for arranging sensors for health monitoring of a semi-submersible type ocean platform structure. The method comprises the steps that the sensors are arranged in a pile shoe area, a platform deck area, a trunk, a mounting frame, pile legs and a platform superstructure of a semi-submersible type ocean platform; resistance type strain sensors and grating type strain sensors are arranged at eight positions of the pile shoe area and are used for monitoring the strain of the pile shoe area; resistance type strain sensors and grating type strain sensors are arranged at eight positions of a platform deck area and are used for monitoring the strain of a platform deck; resistance type strain sensors and non-contact type laser displacement meters are arranged on related parts of the trunk and the mounting frame and used for monitoring strain and displacement of the trunk and the mounting frame. Resistive strain sensors are arranged at different heights in the pile leg and are used for monitoring the strain of the pile leg; a non-contact laser displacement meter and an acceleration sensor are arranged at the top of the superstructure of the platform and used for monitoring displacement and acceleration of the superstructure.
