The invention discloses a traction device for an airplane. The traction device comprises a rod body; the walking mechanism is mounted on the rod body and is configured to drive the rod body to move in the axial direction; the traction part is adjustably mounted at the first end of the rod body and is constructed to be close to or far away from the first end of the rod body in the axial direction, so that the traction part is suitable for being driven by a driving machine to pull aircrafts with different lengths of heads; the connecting part is installed at the second end of the rod body, the connecting part defines a traction space suitable for containing airplane wheels and wheel axles of an undercarriage of the airplane so as to drag the airplane to move, and the connecting part is configured to be telescopic so as to adjust the size of the traction space, so that the connecting part is suitable for being combined to the wheel axles of the airplane wheels with different sizes.
