The invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle lighting system. The system comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle platform which is used for flying to a target hovering area based on target control information and lighting the target hovering area, the unmanned aerial vehicle platform comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle body, a lighting module and an airborne module, the lighting module and the airborne module are both fixedly connected with the unmanned aerial vehicle body, and the unmanned aerial vehicle body is provided with a power module and a vehicle body battery; the power supply module is connected with the airborne module; the mooring box is connected with the unmanned aerial vehicle platform and used for winding and unwinding a mooring line, adjusting the received voltage and outputting the voltage outwards; and the power generation equipment is connected with the mooring box and used for converting external energy into electric energy and outputting voltage to the mooring box and the unmanned aerial vehicle platform. By adopting the method, the maneuverability of the lighting module can be improved, so that the unmanned aerial vehicle platform can provide lighting light for a long time and provide wider-range and safer lighting service, the heat dissipation problem of the airborne module and the lighting module is solved, and the load of heat dissipation equipment on the unmanned aerial vehicle platform is avoided.
