The invention provides a load-bearing type pole-mounted operation platform which comprises a rack, and the rack comprises a power frame and a locking frame connected with the power frame; the climbing power mechanism comprises climbing roller sets symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the power frame in a splayed shape and a rotary driving device in driving connection with the climbing roller sets, and the rotary driving device is used for driving the climbing roller sets to rotate; the locking and pressing mechanism comprises a pressing roller set and a linear reciprocating driving device which enables the pressing roller set to move in the direction of the symmetry axis of the two climbing roller sets. A rotary driving device is used for driving climbing roller sets arranged in a splayed shape to rotate, climbing power for upward climbing is obtained, the automatic ascending and descending functions are achieved, meanwhile, a pressing roller set and a linear reciprocating driving device for pushing the pressing roller set to the position between the two climbing roller sets are arranged, and the automatic ascending and descending functions are achieved. The linear reciprocating driving device is used for controlling the pressing state of the pressing roller set, and the device can adapt to telegraph poles with different diameters and lengths.
