The invention relates to the field of automobiles, in particular to a vehicle-mounted radar blind area detection system and method based on a virtual radar. The method part comprises the following steps: S1, selecting virtual contents needing to be tested, and generating specific parameters according to the virtual contents; s2, selecting virtual radar target information, and sending the virtual radar target information to a test system; s3, the test system analyzes and judges the received information and returns a result for evaluation; and S4, evaluating and comparing the returned data, and feeding back a final result. The system part comprises a closed-loop evaluation system and an automobile virtual radar detection device, the closed-loop evaluation system comprises a real radar information system and a virtual radar system, and the automobile virtual radar detection device comprises a virtual echo transmitting radar array device and an automobile body turntable. The method has the advantages of high reliability, high safety, high coverage qualification rate and high accuracy.
