An upper rotating body (3) of an electric hydraulic shovel (1) is provided with: an electric motor (13) serving as a power source; a battery (15) for storing power supplied to the electric motor (13); a power supply port (16) to which a power supply cable (17) for supplying power to the electric motor (13) or the battery (15) is connected via a relay cable (18); and a camera (23) that monitors (captures) the surroundings of the lower traveling body (2) and the upper revolving body (3). The camera (23) is attached to the upper rotating body (3) at a position higher than the power supply port (16), and captures an image of the power supply port (16). As a result, it is possible to confirm, by means of the monitor (10), the connection status of the power supply port (16) and the relay cable (18) with respect to the power supply port (16), the depression or entrainment of the power supply cable (17) during operation of the electric hydraulic shovel (1), and the like.
