The invention discloses a steel rail corrugation suppression method based on speed adjustment. The method comprises the following steps that the wheel speed of a train is obtained; inputting the wheel speed into a pre-constructed wheel-rail mathematical model, and calculating the wheel torsional vibration angular velocity through the wheel-rail mathematical model; continuously inputting the torsional vibration angular velocity of the wheel into a pre-constructed feedback control module, and performing extreme value judgment and feedback control through the feedback control module, specifically, finding a maximum value and a minimum value of the torsional vibration angular velocity of the wheel within a preset time, judging whether the sum of the maximum value and the minimum value is greater than a preset threshold value or not, and if yes, performing feedback control. If yes, an instruction for controlling the wheel speed to be reduced by a preset value is output to the train to reduce corrugation of the train; and if not, continuing to carry out extreme value judgment. According to the invention, corrugation can be effectively slowed down.
