The invention provides a driving assistance device, a driving assistance method, and a recording medium. The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is that it is difficult to determine whether or not another vehicle collides with the own vehicle although the present driving assistance device predicts the position of the other vehicle to determine the possibility of collision. When the determination is erroneous, it is clear that there is no risk of collision but unnecessary collision avoidance operations such as braking are performed, making the user feel boring. In a driving assistance device that performs a collision avoidance operation on the basis of prediction of a collision between a host vehicle and another vehicle, a position at a determination time point is predicted as a predicted determination position on the basis of the position of the other vehicle at a time point prior to the determination time point. A predicted deviation amount is calculated on the basis of the determined detected position of the other vehicle at the determination time and the determined predicted position, and the collision avoidance operation is suppressed when the deviation amount is greater than a set value.

    本发明提供一种驾驶辅助装置、驾驶辅助方法以及记录介质。本发明所解决的技术问题如下:现有的驾驶辅助装置中虽然预测其他车辆的位置进行碰撞可能性的判定,但难以判定其他车辆是否与本车辆碰撞。在判定错误的情况下,明明没有碰撞的危险性却进行不需要的制动等碰撞回避动作,使用户感到厌烦。本发明在根据本车辆与其他车辆的碰撞预测来进行碰撞回避动作的驾驶辅助装置中,根据在判定时间点之前的时间点的所述其他车辆的位置,来预测在所述判定时间点的位置而作为判定预测位置,根据在所述判定时间点的所述其他车辆的判定检测位置与所述判定预测位置算出预测的偏离量,在所述偏离量大于设定值的情况下抑制所述碰撞回避动作。
