The invention relates to an acceleration rate control method and device for industrial vehicle energy consumption optimization. The method relates to the field of vehicle control and solves the problem of high energy consumption. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a first acceleration rate according to accelerator pedal control information of a vehicle; acquiring a second acceleration rate according to the actual running speed information of the vehicle; and according to the first acceleration rate and the second acceleration rate, the driving state of the vehicle is adjusted. The technical scheme provided by the invention is suitable for operation control of the industrial vehicle, and the energy consumption is effectively reduced while the driving experience of the user is ensured.
