The invention relates to a thermal runaway alarm method and device for a power battery, a vehicle and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the battery data of the power battery of an electric vehicle; acquiring an initial voltage change trend of each single battery of the electric vehicle in a charging state; calculating the descending range of each descending frame of the single battery with the descending trend, and determining the single battery with the real descending trend; and judging whether the power battery is in a thermal runaway state or not according to whether the single voltage of the single battery with the real descending trend is the minimum value of all the single batteries of the power battery at the same moment when the single battery descends for multiple times, and giving a thermal runaway alarm to a user. According to the embodiment of the invention, whether the power battery is in the thermal runaway state or not can be judged by performing transverse comparison and longitudinal comparison on the single batteries in the real descending trend, and thermal runaway alarm can be given to a user, so that the identification accuracy of thermal runaway is improved, the comprehensive safety protection level of a vehicle is improved, and the safety of the user is guaranteed.
