The invention provides a vehicle speed adjusting method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining ponding information and a man-vehicle distance under the condition that a vehicle does not drive into a ponding area; wherein the pedestrian-vehicle distance is used for representing the transverse distance between the vehicle and a pedestrian closest to the vehicle, and the ponding information and the pedestrian-vehicle distance are acquired by a sensor arranged on the vehicle; determining a difference value between the man-vehicle distance and a predefined safety distance, and determining a target accumulated water sputtering distance according to the difference value; determining a target vehicle speed based on the target accumulated water sputtering distance and the accumulated water information; and adjusting the vehicle speed of the vehicle to the target vehicle speed.
