The invention relates to the technical field of data processing, and provides an urban traffic signal controller management method and system based on a dynamic planning algorithm, and the method comprises the steps: constructing a road traffic network topological graph which comprises intersection coordinate positions and lane information, and marking state variables such as traffic flow, vehicle speed and congestion conditions; the method comprises the following steps: reading data of a traffic signal controller to determine an action transfer state, setting a state transfer function and a reward function, carrying out iterative optimization by using a dynamic programming algorithm, finally obtaining an optimal traffic signal strategy, and synchronizing the optimal traffic signal strategy to a traffic signal lamp for application. The technical problem that the operation efficiency of the whole urban traffic network is low due to the fact that cooperative control among multiple intersections cannot be achieved in the prior art is solved, and the technical effects that cooperative control over the multiple intersections is achieved by monitoring traffic conditions in real time and adjusting the states of traffic signal lamps, traffic congestion is effectively relieved, and the passing efficiency of vehicles is effectively improved are achieved.
