The invention discloses a method for testing the intelligent navigation function of a ship, and relates to the technical field of ship testing, and the method comprises the steps: sending a control instruction to a test ship, the control instruction being used for indicating the navigation mode of the test ship, and the control instruction comprising a berthing and leaving instruction, an obstacle collision avoidance instruction and a steering instruction; obtaining berthing and departure data of the test ship in the sailing process based on the berthing and departure instruction, and calculating an automatic berthing and departure performance index based on the berthing and departure data; acquiring collision avoidance data of the test ship in the navigation process based on the obstacle collision avoidance instruction, and calculating an automatic collision avoidance performance index based on the collision avoidance data; response data of the test ship in the sailing process based on the steering instruction are obtained, and a steering performance index is calculated based on the response data; and based on the automatic berthing and leaving index, the automatic collision avoidance performance index and the steering performance index, determining performance parameters of intelligent navigation of the test ship. By adopting the method, the testing precision and the testing comprehensiveness of the ship navigation capability can be improved.
