The invention provides a method and a device for determining the remaining charging time of a battery and an automobile, and solves the technical problem that the remaining charging time of an existing high-voltage platform automobile is inaccurately estimated when a low-voltage charging pile is used for charging. The method comprises the following steps: when a charging pile is identified as a low-voltage charging pile, determining the current output capability of a fast charging and boosting module according to the output capability change condition of the fast charging and boosting module; according to the current output capability of the quick charge boosting module and the output capability of the charging pile, determining the equivalent charging capability after boosting; and determining the remaining charging time of the battery according to the equivalent charging capacity after boosting. According to the scheme, estimation of the residual charging time of the high-voltage platform vehicle model during charging of the low-voltage charging pile is more reasonable and more accurate.
