The invention relates to the technical field of magnetic levitation vehicles and provides a longitudinal beam for a magnetic levitation vehicle and a connecting structure to solve the problems that a longitudinal beam of an existing embedded magnetic levitation vehicle is complex in structure, large in manufacturing difficulty and difficult to maintain. The longitudinal beam comprises a longitudinal beam body, a first mounting cavity is formed in the middle of the longitudinal beam body and used for mounting a damping device, second mounting cavities are formed in the two ends of the longitudinal beam body and used for mounting connecting pieces and displacement releasing devices, and the inner wall faces of the second mounting cavities are matched with the displacement releasing devices. The connecting structure comprises the longitudinal beam, supporting frames are connected to the two ends of the longitudinal beam respectively, a damping device is installed in the first installation cavity in the longitudinal beam, the top of the damping device is used for being connected with a sleeper beam, a connecting piece and a displacement releasing device are installed in the second installation cavity in the longitudinal beam, and the connecting piece is fixedly connected with the supporting frames. The displacement releasing device is located between the longitudinal beam and the supporting frame.
