The invention provides a control device and method for adaptive braking logic matching. The control apparatus includes a controller configured to: acquire a status indicator in product data management (PDM) of a vehicle; applying a first braking control logic when the status indicator has a first characteristic value; applying a second braking control logic when the status indicator has a second characteristic value; wherein the first brake control logic includes triggering an electronic parking brake (EPB) function with a human machine interface (HMI); the second brake control logic includes triggering the electronic parking brake function using a physical EPB switch.
