The method comprises the following steps: acquiring road condition information in a driving direction of a target vehicle; under the condition that it is determined that an obstacle or a special road condition exists in the driving direction of the target vehicle based on the road condition information and the stabilizing wings are in an open state, the stabilizing wings are controlled to retract, and the special road condition is the road condition causing collision between the stabilizing wings and the road surface; and under the condition that it is determined that an obstacle or a special road condition exists in the driving direction of the target vehicle based on the road condition information and the stabilizing wings are in the closed state, the stabilizing wings are controlled to be kept in the closed state. Under the condition that the obstacle or the special road condition exists in the driving direction of the target vehicle, based on the current working state of the stabilizer wing, the stabilizer wing is controlled to retract or keep the closed state, so that the stabilizer wing of the target vehicle is prevented from being damaged under the condition that the stabilizer wing is opened, and the stability of the target vehicle is improved. Therefore, the safety of the stabilizing wing of the target vehicle in the using process is improved.
