The invention relates to a low-cost uniformly-spaced operation flexible marshalling rail transit train system. The system comprises A-end vehicle-mounted signal equipment arranged in a carriage at the head end of a train, and B-end vehicle-mounted signal equipment arranged in a carriage at the tail end of the train, the B-end vehicle-mounted signal equipment is arranged in a compartment at the tail end of the train; the coupling and ungrouping area comprises a vehicle storage line used for parking the flexibly-grouped carriages and a coupling and ungrouping line used for parking the trains; when a coupling signal is received, the flexibly grouped carriages are no-load carriages which are parked on a vehicle storage line and are about to be put into use; when a de-coding signal is received, the flexibly-grouped carriages are no-load carriages which are about to stop operating in the middle section of the train; according to the train compartment marshalling method, the train compartments are marshaled or unmarshaled in the unmarshalling and unmarshalling area, so that the operation requirements of different passenger flow volumes are met, the train-mounted signal equipment is only assembled in the head compartment and the tail compartment, the number of the trains and the number of the train-mounted signal equipment do not need to be increased, and the cost is reduced.
